Hey!!

What a weekend we’ve had. If you’re following us on Facebook/ Instagram then you’d have seen all the photos and excitement from us!! If you’re not following us on Facebook/Instagram… WHY NOT?! Go find us now… we love keeping you up to date with what we’re up to!

Our weekend started with the INCREDIBLE English Hair & Beauty awards at the Mercure Hotel, Manchester. The evening started with a red carpet, professional photographer and bubbly- LOTS of bubbly throughout the night!! It was lovely to see a few friendly faces whilst we were there too.

The awards kicked off with amazing ladies on stage with fantastic dance routines to really get everyone in the mood and ready for an exciting evening.

Half of the awards were presented during the first half of the evening and then there was chance to enjoy a gorgeous 3 course meal before the remaining awards were announced. Of course, our award wasn’t being presented until the second half of the night – just to keep us on our toes!!

We were absolutely made up to be sat on a table with the lovely ladies from The Gel Bottle inc and Sonia Williams, Sonia won the Best Nail Technician category!! Congratulations!! So not only did we get to attend the Gel Bottle Inc event in Manchester this weekend, we also had the chance to chat to the lovely ladies at the awards.

Our category was the Best Beauty Salon for the North West region and we were up against 9 other fabulous salons. We didn’t realise until the evening that Best Beauty Salon and Best Hairdressing Salon were the two biggest categories of the evening and so we were even more overwhelmed and honored to have made it as finalists. This year we didn’t manage to come home as the winners but we were over the moon to have made it as far as we did. Thank you to every single one of our customers that took the time to vote for us, support us and encourage us. We really do hope to be there again next year as the whole evening and experience was fantastic and something we have never experience before. AND, you never know, we may get it next year!! 

And that wasn’t just it for our weekend! We then spent all day Monday at the Gel Bottle Inc Manchester event watching demo’s from the fabulous Sonia Williams, taking a look at the FULL (and there is sooooo many) Gel Bottle range and then a VIP training seminar finding out tips and tricks about the Gel Bottle application and removal and advise from the lovely Daisy (founder of Gel Bottle Inc.)

We came home with 7 beautiful new shades to add to our collection and two of the cats eye collection to try out and play around with. As well as, of course, lots and lots of new ideas!!

It’s been such an amazing weekend, we’ve been on an absolute high!!
