This week, Sophie has been out of the salon and learning new make up skills at Michael Perks make up studio!

Sophie is EXTREMELY passionate about all things make up and since joining the Little Luxury team has been looking to learn new skills and techniques to offer make up services in the salon. This week, Sophie took part in a two day intense make up course at the Michael Perks make up studio, Widnes.

Whilst at the studio Sophie was taught a range of make up skills and techniques including; day time, bridal (natural and dramatic) and going out make up all as one to one training with Michael Perks using mainly all MAC make up.

Michael first graduated as a make up artist in 2012 and went on to work along side a number of shows including; the dancing on ice tour, x-factor tour, the voice tour and the steps tour. As well as working along side these shows Michael has worked for big companies such as; Benefit, Estee Lauder, MAC, Smashbox, Dior, YSL, Clinique and Lancome.

Michael has also been the head make up artist for Liverpool and Manchester fashion week.
