Do you suffer with flaky, brittle nails that just snap unless you have something on them?

Do you normally have a gel polish manicure, builder gel or acrylics on your nails?

Whilst the salon is closed you are probably pulling your hair out trying to do something to look after your nails and to stop them from breaking or flaking!

We have created two at home manicure sets that you can purchase from our online shop (see below) along with a little video tutorial to help….

If you purchased the Deluxe Manicure set then before following the video above you will need a bowl of warm water and your Peacci Scrub & Mask.

Apply a small amount of scrub into your hands and gently massage in, really working on any dry patches, hard dry skin around the nails and cuticle to help soften those areas. Once you have gently massaged this in for a few minutes, soak your hands into some warm water to remove (do not soak for too long as this can affect applying your varnish later)

Once your scrub has been removed, apply a small amount of the Peacci mask to both hands, again concentrating on any dry skin areas. If you have any cling film at home you could also wrap your hands to help trap in some heat and let that mask work a little deeper. Leave your mask on for 10-15 minutes, lie back and relax and give yourself some chill out time (our space masks would be ideal to add in for your pamper!!) Once your mask has been on for the correct amount of time, thoroughly remove with water before moving on to the video tutorial for your mini manicure.

Some pro tips:

• Before applying your base coat varnish, wipe over the nails to temporarily dehydrate them and remove any oils with nail varnish remover
• When painting your nails, for a steady hand, support the little finger of the hand you are painting with, on to the hand you are painting (see video)
• Ensure you keep your hands out of water for at least 2 hours after painting
• Apply your cuticle oil and hand cream every single day and really work and massage that oil into your nails to keep them hydrated and minimise the chance of flaking
