Having your nails done, your nails looking tidy and neat can make you feel so much better about yourself and there is a few things we can recommend to help improve the condition of your own natural nails. 

The first thing you can be doing (something super easy to keep on top of) is cuticle oil! Purchasing a cuticle oil, leaving it somewhere to remind you (by your bedside cabinet, on your coffee table or with your toothbrush!) and applying and massaging cuticle oil into your nails will improve not only the condition of your natural nails by the skin and cuticle around your nails giving your nails an instant healthier look! You will see we apply cuticle oil to your nails at the end of every nail service and recommend you do so. Cuticle oil will not affect your gel polish, builder gel or acrylic enhancements and we recommend you use it whilst wearing a nail service! 

Regular manicures! Enjoying a regular manicure will reduce the chances of nail chipping and cracking and ensures your nail tech can maintain the length, shape and condition of your nails as well as the cuticles and skin around your nails.  Our gel polish manicures and builder gel includes full cuticle work, file and shaping of the natural nails. 

Luxury manicures…. A luxury manicure takes your nail care and maintenance to the next level! Our luxury manicures include a hand & arm massage, hand scrub, hand mask with heated mitts and you can even treat yourself to a mini scalp massage whilst you hand mask and mitts are on! A bit of “you time” included into your manicure too! Hands are one of the first areas of our body that shows signs of ageing and so a manicure is more than just nail care or a treat!  The relaxing hand and arm massage doesn’t just ensure you leave us feeling completely relaxed and tension free but improves blood circulation. The hand scrub reduces the amount of dry skin build up and improves the texture of the skin. 

Builder Gel… Have you tried gel polish and found it doesn’t last the full 2 weeks or doesn’t give your nails the added strength needed? Builder gel is that next step product to improve your natural nails. A natural nail overlay applied to the natural nails to give a strengthening overlay, reduce the chances of nails chipping and breaking and allow you to grow your own nails. But, does having something on my nails ruin them?! No. Whether its a gel polish manicure, builder gel or acrylic enhancement with us, as long as you follow your aftercare and have your nail treatment removed correctly, NO damage should be caused to your natural nails. Your nails don’t need “time to breath” (nails are not alive!) and so having something on your nails constantly will also not cause any damage or problems. As long as your nail treatment is applied correctly, your nail tech works safely and effectively, you follow your aftercare and your nails are removed correctly then your nails will remain perfect! I have something on my nails constantly and my nails are absolutely perfect when I do re do them/remove what I am wearing.
